Capt. Cole McCarty
Captain Cole grew up with a fishing pole in his hand.

Learning from one of the best — his father, a longtime guide on Lake Calcasieu — Cole developed a deep understanding of Louisiana waters from an early age. He’s taken that foundation and applied it to Grand Isle, where he’s helped build a highly successful charter operation focused on consistent fishing and great client experiences.

Calm, knowledgeable, and dialed into the bite, Cole knows how to put people on fish and keep the day running smooth.
Capt. Matt Fuertes
Captain Matt has had a passion for the outdoors since he was a kid.

He spent his early years fishing along the Texas coast, but in 2017 he discovered Grand Isle — and it changed everything. Since then, Matt has been a full-time guide, working both publicly and in the private sector, building a reputation for hard work, adaptability, and knowing how to fish Grand Isle the right way.
From families and first-timers to serious anglers and tournament teams, Matt brings experience and focus to every trip.
