Nearshore Snapper Fishing in Grand Isle
Nearshore fishing out of Grand Isle gets us out of the marshes and onto the beaches, rocks and nearshore structure which holds all sorts of adventure including plenty of grey and red snapper.
The rigs and ground structure along Grand Isle allows us to catch snapper year-round although we can only keep red snapper during approved seasons.
Some days we're jigging, other days we're dropping. Either way, it's just plain fun.
Depending on the time of year, our Nearshore trips produce great action for species like:
-
Snapper (grey & red snapper)
-
Cobia
-
Pompano
-
Tripletail
-
Other seasonal nearshore fish
Snapper fishing is generally done around rigs and underwater structure. Talk to your guides about the type of fishing you'd like to do.
Some days we may mix nearshore action with inshore fishing depending on weather, water clarity, and what’s biting best. The goal is always the same — make the most of the day and put you on fish.
